Our morning routine has changed due to the fact that I need to be to work by 8:00 am now. Today is only the third day we've done this and I must say, we've done well so far. This morning we were a few miles down the road when I realized I'd left my lunch at home. Here's what happened:
b: Awww shucks!
a: what you shuck-sing for?
b: I left my lunch at home in the freezer.
a: huh?
b: I forgot to get my lunch.
a: It's okay, don't worry about it. You can get it later. You'll be okay.
He is so sweet. He cares so much and anytime he does something that he knows in his heart is wrong, he comes back when you least expect it and gives the most sincere apology and a big hug. This little boy made paying for lunch in downtown DC today, not so bad. All because he reminded me, I'll be okay and I can get my lunch later.
