We went to the allergist today to find out what things were safe for Andrew to eat, since he was diagnosed with an egg allergy a few weeks ago. After asking about his medical history and every single thing that has ever happened to him in four years of life, we started the evaluation. After a skin test, we found that he's a big ball of alergic-ness.
He's allergic to:
Milk
Soybeans
Shrimp
Peanuts
Eggs
Crab
Codfish
Almonds
Cats
Dogs
White Oak
Whew! I think that's it. Thankfully everything can be treated with antihistamine's and he won't need an epi pen. She also gave me a few other tips to use that would help his eczema and a prescription for Nasonex to help with his breathing/stuffiness at night. We'll venture back out in a month to see how he's doing with the nose spray. As long as he doesn't have any reactions, in a year we'll do a challenge to see how he reacts to the foods he's allergic to.

Poor guy. I have fears of Peyton being allergic to things like that. When we had him tested for the milk/soy allergy it came back negative, but egg whites did show up. He still has bouts of severe eczema when eating certain things. I am glad Andrew doesn't require an epi and the meds will keep it under control.
