We have had a great summer! We've had plenty to do and time has seriously flown by. Tomorrow is the first day of school and here in Maryland that's the official end of the summer. Take a stroll down memory lane with me as I remember one great summer vacation!
We started out with a road trip to our family reunion in South Carolina for Memorial Day weekend.

While we there, we had great food, spent time with family and Andrew finally rode a horse!

Then we had to get creative when boredom kicked because of the wicked summer storms here.
We spent the 4th of July watching the fireworks from the National Mall.

Andrew started the 'Cool Days of Summer' Summer Camp at his new school after he was accepted and offered admissions into BIG school.

We took a few trips to the splash park and it was the best $9 ever spent!

I taught Andrew how to ride his bike for Mad Science & Roller Derby Day at Summer Camp and in one week he perfected it!

Whew! Now that's what I call one great summer vacation! Tomorrow is Andrew's first day of school and after all the running around and preparations I'm ready! Now we have to complete his summer reading project, pack his breakfast and snacks and off we go to the first day of school!

That sounds like a perfect summer to me. I can't wait to hear all about his days at school.
