X's

A few weeks ago, Andrew kept asking about his birthday and when it was coming. I figured I needed to do something to put the days into perspective for him. So I took a Sharpie and started putting the letter "X" on the calendar each day to show him how close he was to his birthday. Now that his birthday is almost here, he keeps asking about the "x's". "Mom, are the x's all gone yet?" Every. Single. Day. Several times a day. I thought the x's were a great idea. They seem to be just as bad as the "where is my birthday" question lol. Well the X's are almost gone and the boy will be another year older tomorrow.
